For almost a year now, I have been picturing a Cactus MODbotanical in my head. Since this is my “Year of Creating”, I am putting it to paper (and then the computer). I have always been intrigued by the graphic forms of Cactii… they look almost alien! The patterns created by the thorns are just as mesmerizing. So, like a gardener, I am collecting my visual species and drawing them up individually. Then I will plant my Cactii garden to create a new MODbotanical wall hanging. This is a preview of my first ones. I will keep you updated as it progresses.
